To provide dedicated administration support for Adult Skills funded programmes as part of the Skills team.

This is a key role reporting to the Quality & Compliance Lead and will require communication with a range of other teams and stakeholders. 

Accuracy is paramount in relation to checking, auditing and inputting information along with correct interpretation of the funding rules within which we are governed.

    • Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities appropriate to the level of this post. Pursue the achievement and integration of equal opportunities throughout all activities. 
    • Take appropriate responsibility to ensure the health and safety of self and others. 
    • Participate in any staff review/performance management processes involving the identifying and meeting of training needs for self and others. 
    • Maintain own level of understanding of contract requirements including funding rules related to the contracts being delivered, Ofsted and Awarding Organisation requirements.
    • Provide performance and data reports as required to assist with data analysis and identify areas for continuous improvement. 
    • Process registration and certification claim with appropriate Awarding Organisations using appropriate systems. 
    • Complete audit checks and proactively resolve any errors identified. 
    • Work with external partners to resolve any errors and ensure all uploads are accurate and fully compliant. 
    • Liaise with internal and external partners, providing support, advice and guidance as required. 
    • Ensure information is accurately entered into data systems to enable timely draw down of funding. 
    • Maintain effective learner records by compliance checking all paperwork in accordance with the relevant funding requirements, ensuring 100% accuracy. This includes but is not limited to ILR, ILP, review and attendance records.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service qualification, or commitment to work towards
    • Have a minimum of GCSE Grade C for Maths and English or equivalent or commitment to work towards;
    • Experience of accurate data inputting management systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to plan and organise workload, and undertake multiple tasks simultaneously to meet required targets and deadlines.
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Fast, accurate computer skills including solid knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
