Department Summary

The Product team at Maximus Canada delivers eHealth software, services and support to 10 Canadian jurisdictions and internationally. The flagship product, Medigent, enables the automated processing and payment of medical claims for Medicare, Pharmacies, Dental and Medical travel. The Product streamlines the beneficiary enrolment and management process, enables provider portals for claim and payee management and provides clinicians with a real-time drug information system tailored to their jurisdiction. 

Position Summary

The Deployment Analyst provides expertise in all aspects of product delivery, following established deployment methodologies for delivering Medigent Software to internal infrastructure, client infrastructure and cloud. The deployment analyst will drive and contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall delivery processes and technical assets.

Your typical week at Maximus

  • Provides logistical services for the Medigent Software Suite, internally and to our clients, delivering:
    • Windows server applications
    • Windows workstation applications
    • Docker images
    • Scripts and documentation
  • Development, maintenance and documentation of product deployment automation tools and processes.
  • Development, maintenance and execution of the Patch/Hotfix build/packaging and delivery processes
  • Performs client installs and upgrades:
    • Works collaboratively with project teams and clients to evaluate and determine requirements, develop a delivery plan, and communicate/coordinate with stakeholders.
    • Execution of client installations and upgrades.
    • Ongoing support and troubleshooting of client installations/configuration.
    • Creating and maintaining current client-specific configurations and delivery processes documentation.
  • Monitors and coordinates deployment schedules
  • Educates development and business on deployment process and best practice.
  • Advocates for and helps to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of product delivery.
  • Reporting deployment volumes and quality metrics.
  • Key technologies utilized: PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Subersion, Gitlab, Docker, Linus, Windows, AWS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field AND minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in related field
  • Strong knowledge of repository management
  • Demonstrated experience of infrastructure management

  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
  • May require travel (0%-10%); incumbents must be able to obtain and maintain valid travel documentation at all times
  • May require working outside of standard business hours (9:00am-5:00pm)

Salary Range – $55,428.25 - $85,590.00 CDN
