Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

•            Design & Implement Automation Solutions

o            Develop automation solutions using JavaScript and enterprise platforms, primarily ServiceNow and MuleSoft.

o            Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks for API-driven integrations, orchestration, and event-based workflows using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.

o            Collaborate with architects and SRE teams to ensure automation aligns with Site Reliability Engineering principles and operational resilience.

o            Integrate automation into IT Service Management workflows for incident, change, release, and SecOps using ServiceNow.

o            Optimize data flows and API interactions to improve efficiency and customer experience.

o            Utilize metrics and analytics to measure automation performance and drive continuous improvement.

o            Create detailed technical documentation for designs, workflows, and governance models.

o            Collaborate with team and provide technical leadership in automation strategy and coding standards.

Must-Have Skills

•            Core Platforms & Experience

o            ServiceNow:

?            Strong functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow modules.

?            Experience in designing, configuring, and customizing workflows, Flow Designer, Catalog Items, Record Producers, Order Guides, and custom applications.

?            Proficiency in scripting (Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Fix Scripts) and managing SLAs, UI Policies, Data Policies, ACLs.

?            Hands-on with REST API integrations, inbound email actions, notifications, and event queues.

?            Ability to build advanced reports and dashboards for actionable insights.

?            Active Directory integration experience.

o            MuleSoft:

?            3–5 years of experience with Anypoint Studio, API development, and DataViewer.

?            Skilled in designing and optimizing API-driven integrations and orchestration workflows.

•            Programming & Automation Tools

o            Strong JavaScript development skills.

o            Familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD and version control.

•            Integration & API Management

o            Experience with Apigee for API management.

•            Data Governance

o            Knowledge of Microsoft Purview for data compliance and governance.

•            DevSecOps

o            Understanding of embedding DevSecOps principles into automation design and delivery.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Obtain and license software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products.
- Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle.


Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
