We are seeking an ON-SITE HR Coordinator I - People Operations to join our AskHR team and provide essential support across a variety of HR functions enterprise-wide. PLEASE NOTE: The schedule for this position is 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Eastern, Monday-Friday.
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for candidates, employees, and HR/Ops partners handling inquiries regarding HR policies and potentially cross-training with other teams.
The position requires strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage spreadsheets/SmartSheets, track data, support audits, and ensure accurate reporting are needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as first line of support to candidates, employees, and HR/Ops partners on issues relating to I-9s, Background Investigations, VOEs, Unemployment inquiries, MALT inquiries, and AskHR inquiries.
- Responsible for updating multiple tracking spreadsheets and interdepartmental online tools.
- Coordinate follow-up communications and actions with candidates, employees, and HR/Ops partners.
- Responsible for the accurate reporting of employment-related data via excel spreadsheets.
- Participate in audits to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and organization.
- Determine appropriate action for each request such as providing input, maintaining confidentiality, and escalating issues.
- Attend team meetings to discuss status of outstanding tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintains a professional demeanor especially during difficult and stressful situations.
- Collaborate and assist teammates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of relevant experience.

- Comfortable with presenting/communicating via video calls and meetings
- Ability to view, navigate and research within dashboards and portals
- Ability to apply knowledge of HR policies/procedures and research knowledge-based articles to handle HR-related inquiries-
- Ability to adapt and adhere to new directives and follow standard operating procedures
