We are seeking a curious, motivated Product Management Intern to join our Digital, Design, & Experience (DDE) team for a 10‑week summer program. This internship is designed to give you a welcoming, guided introduction to product management while contributing to the future of AI‑enhanced digital experiences at Maximus.

As an intern, you’ll work with product managers, designers, engineers, and project teams to understand how digital products are created — and how AI and GenAI can make them smarter, simpler, and more helpful for the people who use them.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide data analysis support to project and operations management.
- Perform routine administrative functions.
- Assist in special projects across various operational departments.
- Work on assignments that are moderately difficult and escalate issues to management.
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting.

- Explore opportunities where AI and GenAI can make our products easier to use or more efficient for customers.
- Participate in team brainstorming and discussions on future experience design—how products could work with AI built in.
- Help gather user needs, feedback, and simple research to inform new AI‑powered feature ideas.
- Assist in reviewing early concepts or prototype features (including AI‑assisted workflows) and share observations.
- Support product managers by helping organize notes, drafting simple user stories, or preparing light materials for the team.
- Join team meetings, agile ceremonies, and design reviews to see how product ideas turn into real features.

- Must have completed a minimum of 2 years of coursework.
- Skilled in standard computer applications and platforms such as Outlook and MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.

- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Student currently enrolled in a master's program with a background or interest in business administration, information systems, public policy or related field
- 1-year prior experience preferred
