Join our forward-thinking digital organisation, leading the execution of complex digital delivery programmes across Maximus UK as part of our global organisation. This role acts as the senior authority for our delivery capability, accountable for planning, execution, and governance of multi-platform solutions that underpin operational excellence. You will ensure that our solutions are designed, delivered, and transitioned in a way that enables operational teams to meet contractual, performance, and service objectives. Working closely with operations, platforms and product leadership, you will drive high-quality, predictable delivery outcomes, establish robust standards and ways of working, and position Technology as a trusted execution partner to internal and external stakeholders. You will develop a high-performing delivery organisation, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, leveraging first class standard within a global delivery organisation.


Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Digital Delivery organisation with clear accountability for the execution of projects across Maximus UK.
• Define, adopt and maintain modern digital practice methodologies, tooling, and controls that support reliable and consistent execution and enable operational excellence by downstream teams.
• Coordinate delivery activities across UK, US, and India teams, ensuring effective collaboration, clear handoffs, and alignment within a global delivery model.
• Own the relationship with our technology delivery partners, ensuring quality standards of their delivery capability in a timely manner.
• Ensure solutions are robust, secure, supportable, and designed to meet the needs and constraints of operational teams who will own live services.
• Oversee delivery across core platforms including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dynamics 365, AWS Connect, Genesys, Verint, and case management solutions, ensuring coherent, integrated implementations.
• Oversee our data platform team to provide highly efficient a cost optimal data solutions.
• Partner with operations, service, and account leaders to understand operational and contractual requirements and translate them into executable delivery plans and designs.
• Collaborate with solution architects and product leaders to shape delivery-ready designs, roadmaps, and release strategies that balance risk, value, and feasibility.
• Manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies across programmes, ensuring proactive escalation and mitigation to protect operational stability and client outcomes.
• Collaborate with the PMO organisation on end-to-end delivery planning, governance, and execution, ensuring scope, time, cost, and quality commitments are consistently met.
• Work with commercial, finance, and account teams to ensure delivery estimates, plans, and resource models are realistic, scalable, and aligned to commercial, contractual and financial targets across bids and projects.
• Drive rigorous testing, cutover, and transition-to-service processes so that operational teams can adopt, support, and run new solutions with confidence.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary delivery team.
• Drive innovation and engineering excellence into our delivery organisation, leveraging the latest technology to drive value for money in a hybrid workforce.
• Monitor and report on delivery performance using meaningful metrics and dashboards, using data to improve predictability, throughput, and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, embedding lessons learned, best practices to streamline execution to improve stakeholder experience

Essential Skills – What You'll Bring
• Proven track record leading large-scale delivery programmes.
• Strong experience delivering solutions leveraging platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dynamics 365, AWS Connect, Genesys, Verint, and case management tools.
• Strong expertise in delivering solutions in Cloud, Data, Automations, Web and Mobile solutions.
• Good understanding of enterprise and integration architectures and how delivery decisions impact operability, resilience, performance, and supportability.
• Good understanding of enterprise data platforms and how to effectively leverage them within enterprise solutions
• Ability to design and embed standardised delivery frameworks across global organisations.
• Excellent collaboration skills with bid solutions, operations and service owners, translating operational and contractual needs into actionable delivery requirements and plans.
• Experience using innovation to drive improved delivery outcomes
• Experience with global delivery and sourcing models, including coordination of offshore/nearshore teams and third-party partners.
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience in estimation, budgeting, margin management, and aligning delivery with financial objectives.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing, multi-location delivery teams within a matrixed environment.
• Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives, clients, and technology partners.
• Experience managing complex dependencies, cutovers, and transitions in environments where business continuity and service stability are critical.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on pragmatic, execution-focused outcomes.
• Deep expertise in programme and project management, including planning, governance, RAID management, and portfolio-level reporting.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, using data, feedback, and retrospectives to refine delivery processes and outcomes.

Desirable Skills – What Makes You Stand Out
• Experience working closely with operations, service management, or SRE teams, with a strong understanding of their processes, metrics, and constraints.
• Background in health, public sector, or BPO environments, including familiarity with contractual frameworks, KPIs, and regulated service delivery.
• Exposure to AI, analytics, or automation initiatives that enhance delivery visibility, forecasting, risk management, or quality assurance.
• Formal certifications in programme or project management and/or agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Prince2).
• Experience supporting pre-sales and bid activity, ensuring executable delivery plans, assumptions, and risks are clearly defined within proposals and contracts.
