Description & Requirements

Maximus is looking for a Remote Project Manager to join us. The role is specifically focused on contractual and client communications management. The Project Manager will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and tracking program communications and deliverables to our client. The project manager will initiate and manage various projects related to communications. The Project Manager will communicate internal project updates efficiently, recommend innovative methodologies to enhance project performance, and ensure full compliance with internal and external quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and determine resource requirements.

- Oversee all facets of project operations.

- Deploy resources to address all operational needs.

- Make informed decisions and ensure adherence to budgets.

- Communicate updates and project status effectively and efficiently.

- Recommend innovative methodologies, techniques, and criteria for projects.

- Ensure adherence and compliance to internal and external quality standards.

- Manage routine and ad hoc client communications through the leadership approval process and ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Ensure communications and related deliverables are tracked internally and that statuses are reported accurately.
- Review program documentation and communications to ensure compliance with government standards and requirements.
- Coordinate with program leadership and other key personnel to ensure issues are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.
- Manage all facets of assigned projects and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external requirements, program business rules, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Oversee the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of contractually required reports and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project and executive leadership to establish strategic plans, objectives, initiatives, and work plans.
- Work with project and executive leadership to develop, monitor, and achieve project and staff performance goals and objectives.
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports to measure performance and identify operational efficiencies.
- Identify potential problem areas, recommend solutions, and work closely with clients to resolve issues.
- Facilitate communication regarding project status, including corrective and preventive actions, to leadership stakeholders.
- Develop, revise, and implement project policies, ensuring compliance across all project team members.
- Support issue and risk management activities, including the development and execution of mitigation and contingency plans.

Additional Requirements Per Client:
 - Must reside in the U.S.
 - Must be a U.S. Citizen
 - Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check
 - Must not be delinquent or in default on any Federal Student Loans

 Home Office Requirements:
 - Private and Secure workspace from home. At times, you may be required to facilitate and/or speak during meetings. 
 - Access to Wi-Fi, LAN (wired connection/ethernet) or both at home
 - Internet provider that offers enough speed for multiple users without latency or lag. (i.e. housemate also WFH, kids playing video games or streaming shows, etc.)
 - Internet download speed of 25mbps single/50mbps shared and 5mbps (10 preferred) upload or higher required (you can test this by going to [1] www.speedtest.net)



Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- 5-7 years of project management experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
