This hybrid remote role is crucial to our success, requiring 20% travel to oversee operations in Fort Wayne and South Bend, while actively engaging with the community. The ideal candidate will be located in northern Indiana.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure contractual obligations are met by identifying, recommending, and/or developing quality improvement strategies through the evaluation of staff performance standards and project performance measures.

- Identify training needs and development opportunities for subordinates.

- Develop work schedules and assign duties to subordinates to ensure efficiency.

- Discuss job performance concerns with subordinates to identify causes and issues and work closely with the Human Resources department on resolving problems.

- Oversee the work of subordinates to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work.

- Evaluate subordinates' job performance and recommend appropriate personnel action.

- Ensure compliance with the company Wage & Hour policy, including ensuring non-exempt employees get their rest & meal breaks.

- Comply with all company required policies, procedures and processes including but not limited to required training.

- Evaluate systems and data to improve quality control and process improvements.

- Conduct process improvement utilizing project reports.

- Report issues, problems, and concerns to management.

- Ensure work with customers is executed in a caring and respectful manner and with due understanding of and consideration for their unique circumstances.

- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Ensure quality and compliance by meeting contractual obligations, improving processes, and evaluating staff performance while managing daily operations and schedules for efficiency.
- Address performance issues, collaborate with HR on personnel actions, and identify training needs to support team development.
- Analyze data to enhance quality control, ensure respectful customer interactions, and report issues to management.
- Actively engage in the community and attend events as needed.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned.


Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in case management; automated data systems; working with disadvantaged populations.

- Residency in Northern Indiana is required
- Reliable transportation is required
- Must be willing and able to travel 20% of the time to Fort Wayne and South Bend locations

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
