Description & Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct second (Final) or third (QA) level reviews of applications processed by PIA Initial Reviewers to ensure accuracy and completion according to USAC policies and procedures by performing the following:
- Review applications to ensure exceptions are processed according to policies and procedures, required documentation is sufficient and complete, and funding commitments are made accurately.
- Communicate with Initial Reviewers to address errors identified, provide guidance and assistance, and direct them to applicable policies and procedures for completing work.
- Utilize E-Rate Procedures, job aides, checklists and other tools and documentation to ensure accurate processing of applications according to Program rules and guidelines.
- Provide assistance and respond to questions from Initial Reviewers.
- Escalate issues and questions as they arise when processing Program documents.
- Perform other operational support functions as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 6-12 months of related experience.
- 3-6 months of previous experience as PIA Initial Reviewer.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills required with attention to detail.
- Ability to acquire job skills and learn applicable policies and procedures to complete assignments.
- Ability to read, understand and perform assignments within prescribed guidelines.
- Ability to communicate routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal and external contacts.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
