Description & Requirements

Maximus is looking to hire Sr Manager-Back Office to support Aidvantage Program under Department of Education portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage project milestones and project plans.

- Manage work streams to accomplish project work.

- Manage cross functional business communication.

- Develop clear definition of issue scope and impact on customers.

- Develop analytics to effectively quantify impact of issues before and after resolution.

- Implement controls to prevent reoccurrence of issues.

- Provide concise update of status on a regular basis.

Program Specific Job Description:
     
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 10+ years of experience in student loans and a working knowledge of NSLDS. 
- Responsible for oversight and management of NSLDS, Data Integrity, FSA  escalations, ACERS issues, and remediation activities within the Back Office Operations area.
- Ability to work with IT partners to develop improvements and manage change request deployment. 
- Experience managing a Team 

Additional Requirements as per contract/client:
- FSA Department of Education experience preferred
- Must reside in the U.S.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans.

Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education.

Home Office Requirements:
- Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection

Minimum Requirements
 

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience Managing Projects from inception/creation to completion.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
