Description & Requirements

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) solutions development professional to modernize and maintain an intelligence and analytics portfolio for a Federal critical infrastructure agency. They will integrate experience with common BI platforms such as PowerBI, Qlik, and Alation Data Catalog to deliver tailorable analytics data for the American public and critical infrastructure leaders. This data enables real-time visibility to environmental and compliance information throughout the United States. They will deliver accessible, elastic environmental information for the agency and American public, as well as integrate with adjacent program offices to integrate and maintain capabilities.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Develop, create, and modify business intelligence solutions and capabilities using tools like Qlik, Informatica, and Alation.
  • Ascertain client requirements, analytics needs, and data sources to continuously evolve BI capabilities
  • Analyze and design datasets leveraging in-house data and integrating adjacent datasets and capabilities where needed.
  • Interface with technical team members, adjacent program offices, adjacent contractors, and external stakeholders

Basic/ Minimum Requirements:
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Ability to obtain US Public Trust Security Clearance
  • University degree (BS) in a closely related field (Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Intelligence)
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience as a Business Intelligence, Business Analyst, or full stack software or application developer
  • Required Certifications: Advanced certification in Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, Informatica or comparable BI platform

Preferred Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with EPA Program offices, development methodologies, and product lifecycles

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
