Description & Requirements

The Sr Engineer provides expertise, mentoring, and leadership in the areas of document management. In addition, they must configure, support and maintain environments and procedures for all supported applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Translate business requirements into software specifications and functional designs.

- Serve as the point of contact and client interface for data and functional analysis.

- Configure, support and maintain environments and procedures for all supported applications.

- Responsible for managing and resolving application service request tickets.

- Train and support other analysts in using tools, processes, and technical systems.

- May coach, review, and delegate work to lower level professionals.

- Oversee moderately complex technical team/department specific projects/processes.

- Responsible for out of hours support for any failed processing.

Program Specific Essential Duties:
- Systems engineer will be responsible for configuring multiple document management systems and environments.
- Responsible for out of hours support for any failed processing.
- Responsible for high level design and implementation around document management services and service stability.
- Act as a technical SME during escalated P1/P2 issues
- Train and support other analysts in using tools, processes, and technical systems
- Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professionals
- Act as a technical SME during escalated P1/P2 issues
- Develop any new application configuration changes and processes.
- Coordinate w/ Systems PM when developing any new configuration changes requests

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Superior analytical, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, collaborative and mentoring skills
- Experience within supporting one or more of the following application instances desired: OnBase, Kofax, ImageTrust.
- Proficiency in vb/csharp .net  and SQL scripting.
- Knowledge of extract OCR, ICR technologies preferred.

Program Specific Requirements:
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- Able to work in fast paced environments and have an understanding of programming environments
- Proactive, can-do attitude whose actions work toward continuous process improvement
- Superior analytical, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, collaborative, and mentoring skills
- Must be able to write effective technical documents and reports as a primary focus of daily duties
- Excellent communication ability (verbal, written, and presentation) and an effective team player
- Experience supporting all phases of the system development life cycle including development, testing, QA and production.
- Must exercise effective judgment and follow established procedures in support of production, and other critical environments

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
