Location - Colorado Springs, CO

Yearly Base Pay - $40,000 - $70,000

Schedule - Full time schedule available, with a hybrid remote work setting

Clearance Requirement - Must possess an Active Secret clearance

About the role:

Maximus is seeking an accomplished IT Asset Manager to provide expertise in managing and optimizing assets for our federal client's critical operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the comprehensive maintenance of assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.

Project Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead the comprehensive management of assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness
  • Support, plan, and execute all technical refreshes
  • Assist with exit clearance procedures to ensure the return of all assigned property
  • Develop a process that will track all hardware/software licenses, warranties, end of life reporting, shipping, and receiving of equipment, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess asset needs, procure assets, and manage inventory levels
  • Perform regular assessments of asset condition, performance, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of assets to prolong their useful life and enhance performance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assets, including tracking changes, movements, disposals, and reconciliation of inventory records
  • Contribute to financial planning by providing insights into asset-related costs, depreciation, and forecasting
  • Generate detailed reports on asset utilization, bill of material, certification service request, virtual machine tracking, and financial impact for management review

TCS304, T4, Band 7

Project Minimum Requirements:

  • Per contract requirements candidates must possess an Active Secret clearance
  • Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship
  • This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime; candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule
  • Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from Colorado Springs, CO and be available to work onsite at the customer’s discretion; this includes being on-site during the transition period
  • This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Experience supporting IT Assets is required
  • Experience in some or all the following:
    • Asset management tools
    • MS Domain (DNS, DHCP, DFS, etc.)
    • Microsoft Office Tools, such as Excel

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
