Description & Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain architecture that guide the development and integration of solutions.
- Support the design of solution architectures under the supervision of senior architects. Participate in the development and documentation of system designs, workflows, and integration plans.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams throughout the SDLC, ensuring best practices and standards are followed to meet business needs.
- Work closely with product managers, business analysts, business development and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance of software solutions. Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies. Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset in all solution design efforts.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, technical specifications, and project plans. Support document version control, team collaboration tools, and information gathering from SMEs.
- Build relationships with internal teams to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to understand implementation requirements and operational considerations
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions. Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to explain technical concepts in accessible terms. Support vendor and partner interactions as needed.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other technical employees ; delegate and review work of more junior technical professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
