We deliver leading-edge digital solutions through our Technology Consulting Services (TCS) division using Advanced Analytics (AI, ML, RPA), Comprehensive Cybersecurity Solutions, DevSecOps, Human Centered Design, and advanced cloud platforms.
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a fast-paced, mission-critical national security mission. The Program Manager will provide leadership and responsible project/program direction through the successful performance of a variety of detailed, diverse elements of IT project management, including but not limited to operations and maintenance, technology modernization, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.
This role serves as a central point of contact, coordinating the efforts of all associated team members, subcontractors, and vendors, managing all work performed for the project, and overseeing contract financials. The Program Manager assists with overcoming roadblocks that may impact project scope, costs, schedule, quality, and risks, supporting the customer to ensure a successful delivery for the customer’s mission.
The candidate will attend meetings and work on-site at the designated customer facility in the DC Metro Area or other locations as necessary. The selected candidate must be flexible and available to perform other activities as required. Periodic travel to the Maximus office in Tysons Corner, VA, for management meetings is also required.

- 5+ years of experience in IT program management.
- An active public trust
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required in Management, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- 15+ years of experience leading large IT projects (100+ people) across various domains at an enterprise level, meeting schedule, budget, and quality objectives while managing risk.
- Experience leading IT projects within the National Security market with priority towards Homeland Security and the Department of Justice.
- Experience managing teams using Agile methodologies and frameworks (Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Lean IT, etc.).
- Proven track record of IT modernization using cloud and/or SaaS offerings and modernization efforts.
- Experience with different federal contract types such as FFP, Cost Reimbursable, T&M, and Performance-Based, both contractually and financially (tracking actual costs, EACs, and forecasting). This includes developing and presenting standard and ad hoc reports and briefings for the customer.
- Experience in managing subcontractors from multiple companies.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment, requiring flexibility and excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Ability to work well independently or in a team setting.
- Possession of Agile-related certifications.
- Experience developing positive customer business relationships and positive team member relationships.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification and ITIL v3 Foundation certified to ensure task order functions, program/project management services, performance tracking and reporting, and task order execution are conducted and managed according to industry best practices.
