Description & Requirements

Maximus seeks an engineer who specializes in integrating AWS cloud solutions across DoD systems, ensuring smooth application interoperability. As a technical expert, this professional develops functional models, manages architectural processes, and prioritizes security. This role is key in optimizing AWS integration and maintaining high standards for DoD infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
Integrate AWS cloud solutions across DoD systems, supporting web application integrations.
Define requirements, create functional models, and develop architectural processes.
Optimize system operations using AWS tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
Ensure alignment with security protocols and standards for cloud services.

Minimum Requirements
TCS023, T5, Band 8
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred; may substitute for 2 years of experience).
10+ years of experience in cloud system integration with proficiency in AWS platforms.
o At least 3 years of recent & relevant experience with DoD AWS cloud integrations, microservices and container platforms. 
Must have 2 of the following certifications/trainings. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted. 
o AWS Solutions Architect Professional
o AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
o AWS SysOps Administrator Associate
o AWS Advanced Networking Specialty.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
