Description & Requirements

As a Sr. Database Engineer candidates will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing complex, scalable, and secure Federal database solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide technical solutions to complex requirements working with the technical team.

- Prototype new technologies and solutions and present to leadership.
- Comply with development and coding standards and architecture.
- Perform design, code and peer reviews of technical work..


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting database problems in both production and non-production environments across both MS SQL and Oracle platforms
- Installing/configuring/migrating MS SQL, Oracle EBS, on engineered systems, APEX
- Performing Patch Analysis and apply patches monthly and upgrades
- Performing data Archiving
- Performing Data Masking
- Using appropriate tuning methodology and tools to triage and resolve performance issues
- Providing support in infrastructure upgrades for servers, operating system patches, storage devices
- Supporting scheduled and emergency maintenance events
- Providing support with resolving vulnerabilities
- Supporting standard Service Requests
- Performing Backup/Restore/cloning functions for Databases and associated database applications
- Carryout capacity planning and proactive monitoring

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

- Must be able to obtain a 6C Public Trust government clearance
- Must be a US Citizen

Pay Transparency
