Description & Requirements

Maximus is currently looking for a Training Coordinator (remote) to join our team. The Remote Training Coordinator position will be in support of the OPM department. The Training Coordinator will be primarily responsible for delivering the training program to various level employees and providing support of training resources for Customer Service Representatives (CSR). To prepare you for this role, employee will be provided with paid comprehensive training which ensures our employees with the highest levels of knowledge and professionalism.

This is a Seasonal remote-(work at home) position.  *Duration of this position is approximately 6-8 weeks must be available to work from October to December*

You will be required to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7am-7pm CST.  Overtime  will be required- you will work 1 hour of Overtime (OT) on Mondays and 2 hours on Veterans Day as well as on at least two other specific dates in December.

This position is fully remote; however, you must reside within 75 miles from the Maximus Lawrence Kansas location.

 You must be able to pick up and return your equipment at the Maximus Lawrence, KS location and you will also be required to go onsite to complete Federal clearance process/paperwork and obtain required fingerprints.  
 
 Equipment will be provided but must meet the remote position requirement provided below

 

Remote Position Requirements:


Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection

- Internet download speed of 25mbps and 5mbps (10 preferred) upload or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)

- Private work area and adequate power source


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, and distribution of training programs and materials.
- Conduct, plan, and coordinate training to a variety of audiences.
- Coordinate logistics for instruction events, including scheduling classes, reserving classrooms, and preparing workstations.
- Determine resource readiness for courses, including materials, training room, technology, and collection and entry of training data.
- Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
- Provide production floor support and answer questions.

The Training Coordinator position will be in support of the SOS department. The Training Coordinator position will be primarily responsible for delivering the training program to various level employees and providing support of training resources for Customer Service Representatives (CSR). • High School diploma or equivalent • 1-3 years of experience
• May have additional training or education 
• Ability to pass a federal government security background check • A minimum of 5 years in the SOS department

Minimum Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience.

- Bachelor's degree preferred. 
- May have additional training or education in area of specialization.

Pay Transparency
For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the location in which the employee is working, as determined by the Department of Labor. That wage rate will vary depending on locality. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
