Role Summary
EUC Delivery Manager plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the computing environment that end users interact with daily. This role will oversee a team who are responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of end-user hardware. The EUC Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the technology used by employees is efficient, secure and up-to-date, thereby enhancing overall productivity and colleague satisfaction across the organisation.
• Operational delivery of end user compute facilities and services, including development and operations across the Max UK function whilst being mindful of cost and efficiency opportunities
• Ensure adherence to hardware and software asset management demands as well as all other audit and security requirements
• Ensure processes are clearly defined and documented and be instrumental in process change if necessary in this area
This role is hybrid - 3 days onsite in Leicester and 2 days remote
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Ownership and Guardianship of End User compute technology stack and services across Max UK with a focus on customer satisfaction
2. Maintain availability of service and meet or exceed SLAs eg. Incidents & outages
3. Responsible for reviewing and evaluation of major workload issues, work procedures and technical skills of staff required; Oversee the quality of work and responsiveness of desktop support specialist
4. Produce and operate processes for implementation and operation of end user technology solutions using Continuous Improvement and agile methods.
5. Select, develop, train, mentor, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of End User Compute functions.
6. Vendor Management of technology partners assuring all performance standards are met
7. Responsible to ensure that all staff adhere to all documented policy and procedure as defined by Maximus leadership, Security, and HR.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Experience supporting live production End User Computer systems/platforms
• 5 plus years of related IT experience in conjunction with bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Experience of managing vendors and partners in the EUC space including Operations, Tactical and Strategic demands
• Knowledge of Microsoft M365 technology stack and desktop applications
• Experience of technology consumption billing
• Two years of leadership/management experience.
